1. Information we collect

Your account

Your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see or store your actual password.

What you add to a home

Your preferences

Which built-in calendars (Holidays, NFL, UCI cycling) you've turned off, and your favorite NFL teams.

What we don't collect

We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, advertising identifiers or browsing history, and the app contains no analytics or advertising software.

2. How we use it

Only to provide Home Schedule: to sign you in, keep your home in sync across its members' devices, show you your calendars and meal plans, and send emails you'd expect — like confirming your email address, resetting your password, or inviting someone you added to your home.

We don't use your information for advertising, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

3. Who can see your information

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of people or the service.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of companies to run Home Schedule. They process information only on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments:

5. Content from other websites

6. Data stored on your device

The app keeps a copy of your homes on your device so it opens quickly and works offline, and recipes you share from Safari wait in the app's private storage until you next open it. This data is removed when you delete the app or delete your account.

7. Keeping and deleting data

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings › Delete Account. When you do:

Deleted data is removed from our active systems right away and may remain in routine backups for a limited time before being overwritten. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing support@ourhomeschedule.com.

8. Security

Information is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers, and database access rules ensure that only members of a home can read that home's data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it.

9. Children

Home Schedule accounts are intended for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents can include children by name in their home's events. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Your choices and rights

You can view and change most of your information directly in the app, turn off built-in calendars, leave a home, and delete your account. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. We honor these requests for everyone — email support@ourhomeschedule.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

11. This website

ourhomeschedule.com doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers. Cloudflare, which hosts it, may process standard request logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.

12. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and let you know in the app before significant changes take effect.
